The American Italian Club of Spokane returns to the Liberty Lake Farmers Market to host the 4th annual Italian Festival (also known as Festivale Italiano) on Saturday, July 23rd from 9am-1pm. The event is a community celebration of the American-Italian tradition.
For 4 years the Italian Festival has been a Liberty Lake Farmers Market can't miss.
The festival celebrates the American-Italian heritage in a family friendly atmosphere that includes lots of great food.
The American Italian Club of Spokane has a bake sale at the festival and sell cookies made from their grandmothers' recipes. And the timing is right to get some of the best produce of the summer at the market and bring it home to make Italian food in your own kitchen.
The market is full of good food, and if you work up an appetite during one of the Italian cooking demonstrations you may want to stop by Veraci Pizza for a slice of pizza made right before your eyes in a brick oven fueled by local apple wood.
One of the primary attractions at the festival is a to-scale Leaning Tower of Pisa. It looks so real that you might actually think for a moment that you are in Italy. So bring your camera and your kids.
